We are a directory we do not have all the answers but we aim to help when we can.

This is a signpost website, mainly pointing the reader to the national and local websites that we have identified and researched. We have only included the websites that meet our criteria ……. We do not offer any diagnostic or medical advice to readers. This website is not a discussion website where readers will be able to post questions, answers, and comments.

This website does not promote or support any care providers.

The information on this website will hopefully help you to find the answers to your questions. If you are not sure that you have the right or complete answer, please fill in the Contact Us box and we will aim to reply to you in a few days. This will be by email, so please provide your email. Also, please let us know if you think that we have missed a relevant link or if any of our links do not work. We are aware that the National Autistic Society and Milton Keynes City Council have links that are no longer valid. This is being addressed with the NAS and MKCC by people involved in this website. We are committed to keeping this website up to date and relevant and plan to maintain this website.

Google and other popular search websites often bring up results of their searches for the word(s) the reader has entered. This will cover a range of different results including historical stories or updates that are no longer valid, views of individuals that may not assist the reader, and the information the reader wants. The reader should aware that this may result in many hours being wasted; social media is a similar variable source of information and should be used with caution if the reader is new to autism.

The website does not include references to the legislation and related documents that have defined the UK Government, NHS bodies, and Local Authorities responsibilities are defined; these are very detailed and complex and will may not add to the reader’s understanding. The website has signposted readers to sites where those responsibilities are explained and how they are delivered to autistic people and their families and carers.

The website does not include any personal views and beliefs of the people who have developed it and who will maintain it.
